Adeline is performing in Fiddler on the Roof!!!
Walled Lake Central is presenting Fiddler on the Roof. Our own Adeline will be perfoming in the play. The show will be going on Thursday April 24- 7:00 p.m. – ALL TICKETS $10, Friday April 25- 7:00 p.m., Saturday April 26- 7:00 p.m., Sunday April 27- 2:00 p.m., Thursday May 1- 7:00 p.m. - ALL TICKETS $10, Friday May 2- 7:00 p.m., Saturday May 3- 7:00 p.m. http://wlcstickets.com/
Yes Day!
The kiddos and I read a book about parents saying yes to everything to their child asks for in one day. I am sure glad I don't have "yes day" at my house once a year. I was wore out reading the book. The kiddos then made their own "yes book" to bring home. Good Luck! lol

Daily 10:30am - 1:30pm
Afterschool - Monday 3:00-4:30pm
Evening - Tuesday 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday 6:00pm-7:00pm

The school store will be open tomorrow before lunch for those kiddos with money.
MUSIC CONCERT Wednesday, April 30th at 6:30
Music Concert is at 6:30 with an "After Glow" immediatly following in the Media Center. We will serve cookies, lemonade, and water as treats for their hard work. See you then!
Dr Seuss Literacy Night

I lost my tooth the other day and after school I went on the bus and I went to Maria's house and then my dad came to pick us up from Maria's house. I told my dad that I lost my tooth in line on the way to get on the bus.

Hearing Check Ups
The "hearing lady" visited kindergarten at OPE today. I do not have any results, but wanted you to know that they all had their ears checked out. : )

Please ask your child what a BIRDS EYE VIEW looks like. We learned about what the world would look like if we were a bird. Someone even talked about how we have a "human view". LOVE IT!

Math Club PIzza Party
Tomorrow is the pizza party for all of the kiddos who were in Math Club this year!!!!
Magnetic Letter Work
Today we got out the magnetic letters at Word Work to make our word wall words. we made lots of words from our wall.
Popcorn Math
Today we used popcorn to solve math problems. We were able to use the popcorn to show greater than, less than, and equal to. Ask your kiddos all about it! YUM YUM YUM!
Literacy Night
Please consider attending our Literacy Night here at OPE on Tuesday, April 29th. It will be a fun and educational evening. Send in your Dr. Seuss-a-bration registration slips tomorrow! It is $2.00 for the family and if you attend all the sessions you will get a certificate for the Book Fair with a purchase. : )
